An uncovered number shows how many of the eight neighbouring squares hold mines. Long-press to plant a flag where you are sure of one.

Tap an uncovered number whose flags match it to open all its remaining neighbours at once — the fastest way to clear a board.

Is Minesweeper free on Rondo?

Yes. Every game on Rondo is free to play. Coins and cosmetics are optional and never affect the puzzle.
