How to play

The goal

Own more boxes than your opponent when every line on the grid has been drawn.

Drawing lines

On your turn draw one line between two adjacent dots. Completing the fourth side of a box claims it and gives you another move — you must move again.

The endgame

Late in the game every line opens a chain of boxes for the other player. Counting chains and giving away the smallest one is the whole art.
